This is a form of wood sculpture art practiced mainly in Telangana nowadays. Two of us were fortunate enough to learn this art from their Guruji Shri Ravindra Sharma Ji at Kala Ashram, Adilabad. In Nakkashi, soft wood is used and natural, home made glue from Tamarind seeds is used to bind the wood blocks together.
